BERLIN From today on all the social platforms of the Staatsballett Berlin a new film with Maria Kochetkova and Daniil Simkin made in lockdown times is on line.

Created by Sebastian Kloborg, as a choreographer and a director, set on music of the Kronos Quartet, DIORAMA explores the sensations generated by a distance condition determined by the Covid crisis embodied in the two etoiles, surprised by the lockdown at a great distance from each other, Maria in the dunes of Skagen in Denmark and Daniil in the empty halls of the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Ironic and brilliant, the two great dancers, of which the fantastic partnership is famous and loved (which just a few days before the lockdown they had danced Don Quixote at the San Carlo Theatre in Naples), have thus told the complexity of the sensations determined by the condition of compulsion, which has driven them not only from their artistic life, but also from the relationship of the artists and especially with stage the audience.

In this long-distance pas de deux the music is from the Kronos Quartet and is part of the group of compositions commissioned by the celebrated ensemble to fifty musicians and available online, free for interpreters who want to perform it.
