While quarantining in her Berlin flat, Yumiko Takeshima pulled out her original sewing machine from 1993, the machine used during the creation of the very first Yumiko leotard, and began to sew. Over the past few weeks she has developed a small number of one-of-a-kind leotards, featuring stripes in playful colorways, for those who wish to add a hint of brightness to their dancewear style without overpowering the simplicity of their look: an additional small number of Black Label leotards, hand-made by the designer and founder Yumiko Takeshima.
