MONCALVO  In the Eye, the large eye-shaped theatre nestled amongst the cherry trees on the Orsolina28 estate in Moncalvo, we spent a day observing rehearsals for LUCK, the new choreography by Aszure Barton for Gauthier Dance // Dance Company Theaterhaus Stuttgart.

A video that takes us inside the creative process, the rehearsals, the choreographer’s demands, and also the ability of the sixteen dancers from the Stuttgart company to let themselves be swept up by the unbridled dynamism of the Canadian-American choreographer. A video on the first part of the LUCK / UNLUCK double bill, whose world premiere is scheduled for Stuttgart on 26 June.

The second part, UNLUCK, is by Hofesh Shechter and will be staged shortly. And... we’ll be following it!
