THE HAGUE - In August 2026, Dutch National Ballet will welcome Martin ten Kortenaar (principal dancer), Siphesihle November (soloist), second-year Junior Company dancers: Estefanio Guajardo, Yuzuki Yamatini, Dylan Weinstein and Richmond Salvador, first-year Junior Company dancers: Isa Vreeman, Elisa Grassi, Ian Wolters and Michele Forghieri, and Junior Company dancers Prix de Lausanne winners: Jiyul Jeon and Tae Eun Kim. Returning from leave in the rank of coryphée: Arianna Maldini. The Canadian-Dutch ballet dancer Martin ten Kortenaar is coming to Dutch National Ballet in the rank of Principal dancer. Ten Kortenaar left Dutch National Ballet in 2023, then in the rank of Soloist, to dance with Staatsballett Berlin in Germany, where he rose to Principal dancer. He is now returning to Dutch National Ballet in the highest rank.

The South African ballet dancer Siphesihle November is joining Dutch National Ballet in the rank of Soloist in August 2026. November is currently a Principal dancer with the National Ballet of Canada.

At the end of this season, the Chinese principal dancer Qian Liu is leaving Dutch National Ballet. Liu will continue her career in dance as a teacher at the Dutch National Ballet Academy, which is part of the Amsterdam University of the Arts.
