She has been a dancer, dance teacher and is now a dance writer. Her work has been published in many outlets including The Dancing Times, Dance International, Dance Europe and several websites. She has written programme notes for a number of European opera houses and has contributed chapters to books on dance and since 2018 she is a contributor of Danza&Danza magazine and Danza&Danza International. She lectures in humanities at The Open University, UK and has been a lecturer in dance studies at the Laban Conservatoire in London. In 2015 she founded a charity helping village schools in the Middle East.

È stata ballerina, insegnante di danza e poi critico. I suoi articoli sono stati pubblicati su The Dancing Times, Dance International, Dance Europe e diversi siti web. Ha scritto programmi di sala per molti teatri d'opera europei e curato saggi. Dal 2018 collabora con Danza&Danza e Danza&Danza International come corrispondente dalla Gran Bretagna e dal mondo. È docente di scienze umanistiche presso la Open University, ed è stata docente di Storia della danza al Laban Conservatoire di Londra. Nel 2015 ha fondato un ente di beneficenza per aiutare le scuole dei villaggi in Medioriente.
